Brett Ratner's Redemption Tour

February 15, 2012 at 8:50pm PST

Last year Tower Heist director Brett Ratner was all set to produce the Oscars (and we'll say it again: why not pick someone who has a chance of ever winning one), but then there were some gay-slurs, some rightful uproar, and he was out.

So now comes the redemption tour.

Ratner, apparently, has been working with GLAAD, and he will be producing a new video campaign that will "feature Hollywood celebrities, athletes, musicians, and politicians coming out of the closet as supporters of equality. They will share personal stories about why and how they support the LGBT community and call on Americans to do the same."

Honestly, Ratner seems like a little bit of a jerk, but this is a good thing that he's doing. We'll give him the benefit of the doubt for right now.

Immortals in 3-D is the latest 300 knockoff hitting the silver screen. Action packed, full of gore and CGI effects this film leaves us wanting some more plot. Or another scene of Frida Pinto and Henry Cavill naked in 3-D.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!
