Actress and singer Brittany Murphy, 32, died this morning, apparently of cardiac arrest.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reportedly responded to a 911 call from the home Simon Monjack, Murphy's husband, this morning. She was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center shortly thereafter.
Murphy was known for her roles in films such as Clueless and Uptown Girls and for recording the single "Faster Kill Pussycat."
Our thoughts go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.
