Johnny Depp (1990).
Brad Pitt (1993).
Matt Damon (1998).
Heath Ledger (2001).
Ryan Gosling (2004).
And now, Chris Pine.
Following in a long list of hot-ass dudes, Pine, who steps into the Shatner role in this summer’s Star Trek film, will be honored with the ShoWest Male Star of Tomorrow at the annual cinema owners convention in Las Vegas in April.
Last year, the award was given to Emile Hirsch…when they thought Speed Racer was going to be a major blockbuster.
ShoWest managing director Mitch Neuhauser says, “ShoWest has a history of recognizing major talents at the very earliest points in their rising careers and Pine’s impressive skills on the screen and stage will be sure to be showcased.”
