Chris Pine To Be the New Jack Ryan

He already did his magic on Captain Kirk, and now Chris Pine has his eye on Tom Clancy's hero, Jack Ryan for a new reboot of the series.

Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck have played the parts before in four different movies over the years.

All those guys were great (well, Affleck not so much), but we love us some Chris Pine, so bring it on. The Sum of All Fears is that he won't do a good job, but we see no Clear and Present Danger with this idea. (Don't worry, working in puns for Patriot Games or The Hunt for Red October just wouldn't work.)

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable.
