Christian Slater Talks Heathers 2

While promoting his new show, My Own Worst Enemy, Christian Slater told AOL Television, "Yeah, sometimes I see Winona (Ryder) and she's like, 'Are you ready to do Heathers 2?' And I'm like, 'Sure!' I would do it in a heartbeat. I would totally love to do that character again - J.D... That would be like a dream come true for me. So we'll see. If they want to put something together, I'd be thrilled."

Well, f--- me gently with a chainsaw; that sounds like the worst idea ever.

Why can’t people leave well enough alone? Heathers is a classic that shouldn’t be mangled or marred by an attempted update two decades after the fact.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable.
