Dancing with the Stars pros Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are engaged.

Maks popped the question as the clock struck midnight on New Year's between DWTS tour stops in Salt Lake City and Tulsa Oklahoma. Apparently he got Karina a big ol' Harry Winston ring to mark the engagement.

Chmerkovskiy, 28, and Smirnoff, 30, began dating just over six months ago, right after she broke up with Mario Lopez, ending their two year relationship.

This is a match made in Ukrainian dance heaven.

Congrats to the happy couple! We wonder what song they'll dance to first at the wedding...

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
