New Vixen on Housewives

It has been confirmed that Drea de Matteo has joined the cast of Desperate Housewives for season six.

Matteo currently stars as Wendy on the FX series, Sons of Anarchy. But she is best known for her role on HBO's Sopranos as Adriana.

Since ABC gave Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) the boot, they need some new blood on Wisteria Lane.

Drea's character will be similar to Edie's town flooz, and she will have a husband and son.

This sounds totally lame. Bringing on a new character who is a clone of the character they just killed off.

Plus, didn't they kill of Edie due to budget cuts? hmmm.
