The New Thorpedo

There will never be another Michael Phelps, but in Australia they have mad love for Olympic Swimmer Eamon Sullivan.

Remember Ian Thorpe? He used to be lightning fast and super sexy; everyone called him The Thorpedo. Then he showed up at this year’s Olympics talking smack about our boy Phelps, looking all bloated and puffy, sporting shirts three sizes too tight and a hair line that was shrinking like the polar ice caps. Ew.

The Aussies needed a new Swimming God, and Eamon Sullivan rose to the occasion, setting two world records and winning silver and bronze medals in Beijing.

Not to mention, he’s adorable.

Upon his return Down Under, he and ex-girlfriend Stephanie Rice (a teammate) made an appearance as the ambassadors for the Davenport underwear brand in Sydney. Next time, put the drawers on instead of holding them up! All that time in the pool shouldn’t go to waste. Show us the good stuff, baby!
