Exclusive: Top Chef’s Fabio Viviani Getting His Own Show

While we’re still mourning Carla’s loss to Hosea in the season finale of Top Chef: New York, we have delightful news that was confirmed to us by the man himself yesterday.

Fabio is getting his own show.

That’s right, Season Five’s breakout star, the Italian Stallion, Fabio Viviani, is coming to a TV screen near you.

Do you hear that?

It’s the faint sound of mouths watering and panties dropping.

Fabio confirmed the news to us with a double-cheek kiss and a heavily accented promise that by April, more details will be public, just in time for the Upfronts.

No word yet on whether Fabio is returning to Bravo, stepping into Food Network’s spotlight or finding a different network home, but soon the 30-year-old, imminently quotable food stud will be delighting food lovers everywhere .

Like Fabio himself said during Restaurant Wars: “I am front of the house. We can serve monkey-ass and empty clam shell and we will win.”

He could teach America to sauté air and we’d still set a season pass on our DVR.

Viva Fabio!

Check out this Fun with Fabio video. http://bit.ly/3szsKL Enjoy!

GOOD FOR HIM!!

I've been to Fabio's restaurant for the buck you can't go wrong. The food and the service is great, the ambiance so so. He walked the floor and greeted almost all of the guest. He was by far the best best contestant on TC. Also he is incredibly generous working with many charities and how do I know? He donated food and services to a cancer charity fund raiser that I was apart of.

You are so Righ

Your posting is great and you are so right about the price. You can eat and have a wonderful time without spending more then you would at the "Olive Garden" as one poster likes to use as an example...My husband is 6'7 and weighs 300 pounds and order a pizza and brought home left overs....the portions are great and the flavor even better. Fabio is kind and generous with his time and "fame"

Bullshit

I had Dinner there, he is one step below Olive Gardens. He did not stick arround because of his cooking skill on Top Chef. That is for sure. He has no personality. How many did he win?? 1 or 2 maybe ??

Michelle

Wow What Did You Eat

What did you order, because I have been there and had several dishes (all great if not better) and when did Olive Garden start serving Gourmet Pizza's..Also, where did you sit....I have never seen an "Olive Garden" that even came close to the decor and size of Fabio's. Also, I have seen and spoken to Fabio every single time I have been there and have had the pleasure to meet his wife, mother in law and other family members...Are you sure you were even in the right place.

Ti Amo Fabio!!!

Fabio, come sei bello e carino. I wish you were single, but I respect that you are married and will leave that alone. I live in Chicago and hope to one day visit your restaurant, I wish you would open a restaurant in Chicago. I want to meet you so badly because you are so f___n adorable. Viva Italia, the best food and the best men in the world!! Vero? I am from Bari, Italia. You are so handsome and I love you!!! Rosa Patano

He is such a charmer and

He is such a charmer and could charm my panties off!!!!!

We Love You Fabio ! Please

We Love You Fabio ! Please keep us posted as to when your new show will begin and on which network . . . we wouldn't want to miss a single episode.

The guy is a liar!!! He

The guy is a liar!!! He originally said that if he won the money would be going put it towards his "charity", then he said that he was going to help his sick grandma, then he changed and said he was going to remodel his year old restaurant. Oh well hopefully he leaves Ventura County because not enough people go there, or he thought that his food was so good that people would flock there.

fabio bashing

Shut up............what he does with the money is his business....have you had his food......we need that quality in this county.

I'm having my bday dinner

I'm having my bday dinner there tonight and unfortunately Fabio is in NYC and won't be there, but his food is great, and you would be lucky to get a reservation on Friday or Sat. night. It's constantly packed and for those of you near by, since Fabio won Fan Favorite he is throwing a party next Friday 3/20 @ 10pm. Come on down. I'm sure the money he won is going to his kids healthy charity as well as helping his family. You don't know what he actually did with it so how can you judge?

reply restaurant

Have you actually been to his restaurant in Moorpark? I went in Dec. and the place was packed and the food was great - the pumpkin ravioli and gnocchi we had was superb. Don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.

Wow Where Do You Get Your Information Anonymous

I had the pleasure of eating at Fabio's restaurant on Friday night. Not only was the restaurant beautiful, the food was great. Fabio also introduced himself and his family (Wife and Mother in Law) to us. I also witness a 8 to 9 year old boy who was there for his birthday and could tell was a huge fan, Fabio not only spent time to talk to this boy but took as many pictures as he wanted. The place was packed so, people are flocking there, not only for him but the food and the prices. Remodel the restaurant, he just added a wine room for dinning and the restaurant is huge. He speaks of his grandmother to anyone who asks and she does not want to move yet. Please look at his bio and you will see the two Charities he has started. Where you get your information I will never know. Do you live in Ventura County. I have all my life. I know this restaurant will be here a long long time.

My second-favorite TC5 contestant? Good for him!

I really hope this happens for Fabio. He has enormous charisma and he's great on TV. Carla was my first pick for fan fave, but I'm glad it was Fabio if it had to be anyone else. He's a great family guy, a hard worker, and living proof that the American Dream is still alive.

Best of luck, Fabio. We'll be watching!

Love Fabio

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
