Actress Farrah Fawcett, 62, who became one of the best known faces in Hollywood for her 1970s role in Charlie’s Angels, died earlier today, after a three-year battle with cancer.
Her long-time partner, Ryan O’Neal, father of her son, Redmond O'Neal, released the following statement:
"She's gone. She now belongs to the ages. She's now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She's in a better place now."
Fawcett's battle with cancer was the subject of the documentary "Farrah's Story" that aired on NBC in May. She was first diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006.
We are deeply saddened by this news.
RIP, Angel.
