Forbes magazine released its Top-Earning Actresses of the year list, based on June 2008 to June 2009 profits (including endorsement deals), and the top spot belongs to (drum roll please) ...

Angelina Jolie, with a sweet $27 million.

This is a bit surprising, considering we haven't seen her in a movie since Wanted last year. But that was a smash hit ($341 million worldwide), and Changeling earned her an Oscar nod. Megan Fox has a long way to climb to catch up with this one.

Second place, fittingly, is Jennifer Aniston with Marley & Me. Will this woman always have to play second-fiddle? Oh well, we're sure her $25 million is consolation enough.

Meryl Streep is 3rd (yay!) due to surprise global smash Mamma Mia. Sarah Jessica Parker is 4th, and Cameron Diaz is 5th (down from 1st last year).

Question: What the hell is Kate Winslett doing down at 15th with $2 million?! The woman gave two brilliant performances (Revolutionary Road, The Reader), which won her an Oscar and a Golden Globe. We are shocked.

Even more disappointing, the top-paid actor (Harrison Ford) made $65 million this past year, more than doubling Angelina. The top 10 actors earned $393 million, compared with $183 million for the top 10 actresses.

Really, Hollywood?

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
