Guess which former teeny bopper wasn’t in the mood for a greatest hits sing along yesterday.

It’s Taylor Hanson of the band Hanson.

For those of you born after 1990, Hanson is the blonde, original version of The Jonas Brothers: three hot brothers with a love of pop who made little girls go CRAZY back in the day.

The Hanson brothers are still touring and performed at the State Theatre in Falls Church, Virginia yesterday. When asked if he would sing "MMMBop," the hit song that launched the band and is their biggest hit to date, Taylor replied by flipping off the camera.

Gasp!

WWNJD?

What Would Nick Jonas Do? Not that, we bet. Who knew Taylor Hanson was willing to be so vulgar? Come on, man, they’re like the easiest lyrics ever. It’s basically all jibberish. Come on, sing it:

MMMbop, Doo ba, Doo Ba, Doo, Oh yeah e, MMMbop tick a ta ba do ba, dubi da ba do ba, tick a ta ba doo, yeah eh yeah.

Was that so hard?

New Music

Their new music is amazing. And while I hated the original MmmBop with a vengence, they do cover it acoustically at their concerts and it is survivable... not GOOD, or ENJOYABLE, but I can survive it.

Seriously though, their latest album is amazing. As was "Underneath" and about half of "This Time Around".

To promote his new film Yes Man, Jim Carrey appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night to deliver a Top Ten List of things he'll always say yes to (and did a way better job than Tom Cruise the night before). Who wouldn't say yes to bath time with Larry King?

How the hell do they expect us to wait until May 1st, 2009 when they release a trailer this bitchin' now? Those dirty teases. Though the glimpse of RyRy Reynolds' Deadpool is brief, it's mighty enjoyable, as is the prospect of two hours with Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch as Gambit, Liev Schrieber as Sabretooth and, of course, Hugh Jack-ed up Jackman as Wolverine. This movie looks aaaaawesome!
