The internet was buzzing last week with rumors that Ricky Gervais, who brought the world the original version of The Office and Extras, is teaming with Desperate Housewives creator Mark Cherry on a sitcom for HBO which would feature Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears.

The show, which has been described as a cross between Ugly Betty and Friends, will be about the three pop-tarts living together in LA and struggling to make it big. The most bizarre part is that they would basically be playing themselves: Paris will portray an aspiring fashion designer, Britney a singer and Lindsay an actress. So basically it's a scripted, fictional reality show. Kinda like The Hills.

This news seems kind of too big to be true, but we'll have to wait and see. If it's real, then it has the potential to be either really awesome or really awful. With Gervais at the helm, though, there's some potential to see Britney, Lindsay and Paris lampooning themselves for our entertainment.

So what do you think the show will be called?  We have a few suggestions, including Trainwrecks, Who Needs Underwear?, and Leggings Are Not Pants

To promote his new film Yes Man, Jim Carrey appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night to deliver a Top Ten List of things he'll always say yes to (and did a way better job than Tom Cruise the night before). Who wouldn't say yes to bath time with Larry King?

How the hell do they expect us to wait until May 1st, 2009 when they release a trailer this bitchin' now? Those dirty teases. Though the glimpse of RyRy Reynolds' Deadpool is brief, it's mighty enjoyable, as is the prospect of two hours with Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch as Gambit, Liev Schrieber as Sabretooth and, of course, Hugh Jack-ed up Jackman as Wolverine. This movie looks aaaaawesome!
