As we predicted, High School Musical 3: Senior Year dominated the box office this weekend, taking in $42 million domestically and $82 million worldwide. All those HSM kids are swimming in money like Scrooge McDuck right now!

Obviously, the chance to see a big screen spectacle and the realization this is the end of the franchise as we know and love was a big draw, but our question is, was it the sweaty, panting, drippy Zac Efron or his FABULOUS, totally gratuitous, naked back shot (sadly, just waist up) that earned all that cheddar? You know he’s what brought all the girlies to the yard.

In his honor, we offer this photo, taken by our friend Jenny as AMC security was screaming at us, after a screening two weeks ago. We’ve framed it, and have started telling everyone it was taken at our prom.

We make a damn fine couple, dontcha think?

To promote his new film Yes Man, Jim Carrey appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night to deliver a Top Ten List of things he'll always say yes to (and did a way better job than Tom Cruise the night before). Who wouldn't say yes to bath time with Larry King?

How the hell do they expect us to wait until May 1st, 2009 when they release a trailer this bitchin' now? Those dirty teases. Though the glimpse of RyRy Reynolds' Deadpool is brief, it's mighty enjoyable, as is the prospect of two hours with Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch as Gambit, Liev Schrieber as Sabretooth and, of course, Hugh Jack-ed up Jackman as Wolverine. This movie looks aaaaawesome!
