Hilary Duff is a Backpack Blessing

Yesterday Hilary Duff visited the Normandie Ave Elementary School for the Blessings in a Backpack food program in Los Angeles.

Blessings in a Backpack is a nonprofit organization which provides weekend meals to children in need by sending them home on Friday with non-perishable food items in a backpack.

Weekend meals for an entire school year cost only about $75 per child and participating schools have shown improved attendance on Monday and higher test scores.

We love seeing Hilary doing her best Jolie.
