January Jones: Best Name Ever?

January Jones, who plays troubled housewife Betty Draper in Mad Men, is the August cover of Interview magazine and discussed her lovely name.

When asked whether she was named after the month of her birth, she answered:

“It’s a coincidence. It’s from a book called Once is Not Enough by Jacqueline Susann. Bad book… People think that I changed my name. I could’ve been an actress, a superhero, or a stripper.”

Her name is so old-Hollywood glamorous, and she has that classic beauty going for her as well. She should thank her parents on both counts!

Don't miss Season 3 of Mad Men, premiering August 16th. Plenty of other pretty faces to see on that show as well.
