Jason Statham Cranks It Up

Don’t worry; the scratches and blood are just makeup as Jason Statham films Crank 2 in downtown LA on Tuesday.

We had every intention of seeing the original Crank but, sadly, missed it (it’s in the Netflix cue).

The film was about an assassin (Statham), who must keep his adrenaline at the highest level to stay alive. He jumps out of buildings, has crazy sex and gets into brawls to remain jacked up – silly concept but we love us some Statham. He was fantastic in The Italian Job and anyone who hasn’t seen The Transporter (both I and II) is seriously missing out.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
