Denny Duquette lives!

Jeffrey Dean Morgan arrives for the Watchmen press junket in San Diego at Comic-Con. Watchmen is based on a twelve-issue limited series comic and is the only graphic novel to appear on Time Magazine’s list of “the 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present.”

The film, like the novel, is set in 1985, in an alternate America at the verge of nuclear war, where a group of past and present superheroes are depicted as real people who have to deal with ethical and personal issues and struggle with their neuroses as they try to unravel the mysterious murder of one of their own. Intriguing, no?

We fell in love with Jeffrey (along with the rest of America) when he played Izzie’s dying lover on Grey’s Anatomy. Next up he’ll be seen in The Accidental Husband with Uma Thurman and in All Good Things with co-smokeshow Ryan Gosling.

To promote his new film Yes Man, Jim Carrey appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night to deliver a Top Ten List of things he'll always say yes to (and did a way better job than Tom Cruise the night before). Who wouldn't say yes to bath time with Larry King?

How the hell do they expect us to wait until May 1st, 2009 when they release a trailer this bitchin' now? Those dirty teases. Though the glimpse of RyRy Reynolds' Deadpool is brief, it's mighty enjoyable, as is the prospect of two hours with Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch as Gambit, Liev Schrieber as Sabretooth and, of course, Hugh Jack-ed up Jackman as Wolverine. This movie looks aaaaawesome!
