Katie Holmes arrived at the Independent Feature Project's 30th Year Celebration at the Cooper Square Hotel in New York City on Sunday in an Alexander McQueen silk halter top and pants and Givenchy heels.

It should have worked.

But it didn’t.

Katie’s style has become so blah, it’s visual Ambien.

Come on, girl, you’ve got all of Maverick’s Risky Business money to spend and you show up in a black satin keyhole halter and schlumpy oversized pants without so much as a dangly earring?

Booo.

I dunno

I think Katie looks pretty good in a sophisticated, understated way. When you've got great skin who needs the ear bling? I agree about the pants though, not quite right....
