Boy band superstar Kevin Jonas is set to break millions of young girls' hearts: he has announced he is engaged.

The oldest of the Jonas Brothers says he went down on one knee at girlfriend Danielle Deleasa's doorstep after flying overnight from a show in Canada.

"She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super-fast in a row," the oldest Jonas Brother said proudly. "It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world."

Jonas, 21, presented Deleasa, 22, with a cushion-cut diamond ring that Jonas designed with jeweller to the stars Jacob & Co. They have yet to set a date.

"It still feels like a dream," Deleasa said just hours after the proposal at her home in New Jersey on Wednesday.

The couple met in May 2007, while vacationing with their families in the Bahamas. Deleasa, a former hairdresser, admits that When they met: "I didn't know who the Jonas Brothers were."

Jonas eagerly pursued Deleasa after that first meeting; the fateful moment came when he spotted her walking on the beach with a flower in her hair.

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
