In the film version of Sex and the City, Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) break-ups with her longtime younger love, Smith Jerrod.

It seems Kim is mimicking her movie persona by breaking up with longtime boyfriend and chef Alan Wyse.

The 52-year-old actress, broke up with Wyse, who is 20 years her junior "a while ago," her rep told Access Hollywood.

Cattrall is just about to start shooting the second Sex and the City movie this fall, and she'll also be appearing on the big screen, alongside Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan and James Belushi in Roman Polanski's thriller The Ghost.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
