Oh, the horror! It looks like the Sex and the City ladies will need to start cutting back on their fabulous clothing and shoe purchases, just like the rest of us.

Kristin Davis (a.k.a sweet Charlotte) was in, where else, New York City recently promoting skin care line Ahava, and she shared some insider information about the highly anticipated Sex and the City #2.

“I haven’t read the actual script yet; we’re supposed to get it this week,” Kristin insisted, yet she did hint that Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda may no longer be able to spend as lavishly on Manolos as in days of yore.

“I don’t think we are totally switching to a new shoe brand, but there are definitely some effects of the economic situation that will be felt, but I don’t know if [the consequences will be felt] across the board or specific to certain characters.”

We don’t mind, we just want the sequel to be better than the downright disappointing first film, which we still refer to as "The Godfather III for Women." Come on, girls, do us proud! We aren’t afraid to run back to our "The Complete Series" DVD set, you know.

As for Kristin, she is also gearing up to promote her new film, Couples Retreat, a comedy co-starring Vince Vaughn. “It comes out October 9. I am going to try and promote it while we’re doing the sequel,” she laughed. “So we’ll see how that goes.”

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
