What is wrong with the world?!

The Hills’ diva (oh, we mean former Hills' diva) Lauren Conrad has snagged the film deal she hinted at weeks ago for her book, L.A. Candy. Temple Hill Entertainment has acquired the screen rights to the novel.

L.A. Candy has been on the New York Times bestseller list for 14 weeks since its release in June. (Just answered our opening question.) It follows a 19-year-old girl named Jane Roberts who moves to Hollywood and finds fame as a reality star. Yes, it's Conrad’s life.

Don't waste your money at the box office (assuming the movie gets made); Just turn on the frickin’ Hills people.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable.
