Take one look at this photo of Madonna from the Madison Square Garden stop, on her Sticky and Sweet Tour, and tell us she doesn’t needs to surrender the fantasy!

OK, right she looks like steaming shit in that photo, but don't go getting age-ist about this landmark character. True, all celebs need to know when to hang it up -- and her greatest daze were in the 80's, fer crissake. But just 'cause she's old is no more a reason to surrender the mic than it is for Mick or Bono to get out of the picture. Talent speaks. In Madonna's case, it may have begun to croak -- but let's not make the rule: when you look like crap, get out of the picture. Let's make it: when you sound or perform like crap, you're gone. For good or ill, we're going to have a lot of aging rockers on our hands for decades to come. My guess is the hip hop folk will drop from the radar before we lose our last Madonna. Still, can't argue about that picture... brutal....

How the hell do they expect us to wait until May 1st, 2009 when they release a trailer this bitchin' now? Those dirty teases. Though the glimpse of RyRy Reynolds' Deadpool is brief, it's mighty enjoyable, as is the prospect of two hours with Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch as Gambit, Liev Schrieber as Sabretooth and, of course, Hugh Jack-ed up Jackman as Wolverine. This movie looks aaaaawesome!
