Martha Stewart’s beloved Chow Chow, Kublai Khan Paw Paw Chow Chow Chow, who she called Paw Paw, passed away on Saturday.

He was almost 13.

Paw Paw was a regular fixture on Martha’s show and in her magazine.

She posted this beautiful tribute to him on her blog.

The connection people share with a pet is just as deep as with a family member, and our heart breaks for your loss, Martha. We will remember Paw Paw fondly.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable.
