Miley Cyrus/Step Up 2 Battle Continues

May 1, 2008 at 7:29am PST

Jon M. Chu, the director, and Adam Sevani, co-star of Step Up 2: The Streets, challenged Miley Cyrus and her best friend/back up dancer Mandy Jiroux (co-stars of the YouTube show M&M) to "The Biggest Online Dance Battle in YouTube History” two weeks ago.

The rules are...there are NO rules.

ACDC (Adam/Chu Dance Crew) was the first to strike with a battle video, but Miley and Mandy responded with an even bigger video featuring the original Step Up stars, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan and some very intricate choreography

Now ACDC is back. And they brought our future husband Robert Hoffman along to whip some major M&M ass.

Their video is AWESOME!!!!

ACDC is basically all of the best dancers and choreographers in LA (and possibly the world) in one room plus guest appearances by Hairspray co-stars Amanda Bynes, Brittany Snow and Elijah Kelly, Hairspray director Adam Shankman, Lindsay Lohan (proving she’s lost the ability to act and never had the ability to dance), America’s Best Dance Crew winner Jabbawockeez, Adam Sandler, Chris Brown, a hilarious Hannah Montana cardboard cut out and Miss Diva herself, DIANA ROSS!!!!

Check it out.

Sidenote: His appearance is brief but Jamal Sims is in the video too. WE LOVE JAMAL!!!  He choreographed Step Up 2, Step Up and Hairspray.

We want to be a dancer!

ACDC KILLED THE M&MS

The m&ms took on the acdc crew at the teen choice awards, and no offence but i think that was b's because the acdc crew had way better dancers, way better stars and way better chorey. But the m&m crew won.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
