Sad news out of Virginia for all Miley Cyrus fan.
One of Miley's four tour buses crashed outside of Richmond, VA yesterday on the way to the singer's show in North Carolina on Sunday. The driver of the bus, William G. Douglas, 53, of Austin, Texas, died at the scene. Miley herself was not traveling with the group, as she had hopped a plane to Nashville for some downtime before the concert.
She did however post a message on her website: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill 'Uncle Bill' Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed."
The cause of the crash is still being investigated. Cyrus still plans to go on with the show on Sunday.
Our thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.
