Molly Ringwald Expecting Twins

Molly Ringwald, who currently stars as the anxious mother of a pregnant teen on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, is expecting twins in August.

The actress, 40, revealed she was pregnant earlier this month and yesterday announced she’s having her second daughter and first son with husband Panio Gianopoulos, 33. They have a 5-year-old daughter named Mathilda Ereni.

The pregnancy will be written into the show’s storyline where Ringwald is already dealing with her husband’s affair, her mother’s Alzheimer’s and, of course, her 15-year-old daughter’s pregnancy.
