Emmy's Big Winner: Neil Patrick Harris

Neil Patrick Harris may have lost the actual award to Jon Cryer (WHAT?!?), but the show's MC was clearly the big winner last night. It was he most entertaining Emmys show in years, even if the awards were pretty boring.

30 Rock and Mad Men won. Again. Glenn Close (Damages) and Alec Baldwin (30 Rock) won. Again. Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Michael Emerson (Lost) won. Again. The Amazing Race. Again. Are you catching a pattern here?

The only real surprise of the night was Toni Collette winning Best Actress in a Comedy Series for United States of Tara, which we didn't know anyone even watched.

See It or Skip It: World's Greatest Dad
Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
