It's a bad sign when a director feels the need to reassure fans that his film won't actually be as bad as the trailer looks.
New Moon director Chris Weitz has told fans concerned about the CGI work on Taylor Lautner's Jacob and the other werewolves not looking realistic enough in the film's trailer that the art is constantly being revised and that it will be better by the time the movie is released.
"Every CGI shot goes through sometimes hundreds of iterations," he said. "Like, for instance, that first shot we put out was a work in progress. It was probably version 150 or something. That shot itself is now at version 550, I think."
Weitz has until November 20th to get it right. He better not let Team Jacob down!
