Paula Abdul Admits She Was a Pill Popper

Little Miss “I’ve never been drunk in my entire life” has finally admitted why she’s been such a hot mess for the past few years…

Paula Abdul was addicted to prescription pain killers.

In an interview in Ladies’ Home Journal’s June issue she talks about both the addiction and her rehabilitation.

“I could have killed myself,” Abdul, 46, says. “Withdrawal – it’s the worst thing.”

Abdul says she checked herself into the La Costa Resort and Spa, in Carlsbad, California last Thanksgiving to get help.

“I was freezing cold, then sweating hot, then chattering and in so much pain, it was excruciating. But at my very core, I did not like existing the way I had been.”

And Idol producers probably made you.

At least she wasn’t lying about not being drunk.

She was just zonked out of her mind on Dolls.
