Ryan O’Neal has chosen to give his son, Redmond, some tough love and let him sit in jail waiting for his court date.

Redmond O’Neal, 24, was arrested on Sunday and charged with a felony count of drug possession.

And he already has a drug possession charge pending in a separate case.

And he was recently kicked out of rehab for failing a drug test.

Until his April 24th court date, his father is letting him stay in prison to face the consequences of his actions. His mother, Farrah Fawcett, is currently hospitalized and battling medical issues related to her cancer treatment.

Watching this family unravel is painful.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
