Robert Pattinson Overwhelmed by Fame

Didn’t quite know what you signed up for with Twilight, did you there, Rob?

Robert Pattinson’s Twilight cast mates have revealed that the man behind the world’s most famous vampire is still having trouble dealing with the explosive fame his role has brought on.

Ashley Greene, who plays Alice, told Nylon, "Oh God. Poor Rob is already a Beatle. His whole life is documented. If he picks his nose, it's all over the Internet. He's just done for. I think he's kinda freakin' out, like, 'What the f&^* is going on?'”

"Rob cannot be in public and be static for more than five seconds without being mobbed," Mike Welch (Mike Newton) told MTV. "If he's in a room and he looks down and he looks back up, [in that instant] everyone in the room will be staring at him. It's kind of ridiculous. [That level of fame] is literally Rob Pattinson and Barack Obama."

Well we don’t know if it’s quite on the level of the President, Mike, but we see your point.

Rob himself recently said that he fears his fame will affect those he loves. "I'm always really worried about ruining their lives. Especially with people that aren't famous. It's such a massive change. I'm kind of a paranoid wreck."

If it’s any consolation for Rob, we have a feeling New Moon won’t perform quite as well in theaters without this new Beatle.

Oh, haven’t you heard? Edward Cullen barely shows up in the second book and film.

Producers are likely trying to hide the fact from the Edward-addicted masses, and for good reason. But maybe this will be the break that Rob so obviously desires.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
