So You Think You Can Collapse

Two dancers on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance collapsed in rehearsals on Saturday and had to be rushed by ambulance to Cedars Sinai Hospital.

SYTYCD judge Mary Murphy said the cause was dehydration brought on by the 10-12 hour rehearsals they’ve been putting in. “The kids…want it so bad,” says Murphy, “so, they keep pushing themselves and pushing themselves and not letting anybody know that, ‘Hey, I’m running on empty’…I’m sure they’re doing a lot of blood work to see if there’s anything else.” Then she screamed “Hot Tamale Train!!!”

Fox reps won’t say which dancers fell ill they did say they’ve been released and are doing fine. Twitch, Katee, Courtney and Joshua are the final four dancers remaining in the competition.

Rehearsals were cancelled until all everyone was able to attend in order to maintain some fairness in the competition...except, if there was any REAL fairness on SYTYCD, Will and Chelsie would still be in the running.

The finale, featuring a performance by the Jonas Brothers, airs on Thursday at 8pm.
