We just got word from a very reliable source that Canada’s So You Think You Can Dance, which is heading into its second season, might have a new host soon, one who’s being groomed for the big time.

The show is currently hosted by MuchMusic VJ Leah Miller but, from what we hear, it looks like American SYTYCD season two contestant Joy Spears (no relation) could be taking over the microphone and, if things go well enough, heading south.

We’re told Cat Deeley is ready to move onto greener pastures and Spears has been tapped as her successor, dependent on her performance in the Land of “Aboot.”

JOY TO SYTYCD!

Growing up dancing, I have seen the charisma Joy Spears possesses multiple times. She will bring nothing but good to SYTYCD!

legit

Hi,
I recently took class from Joy at a workshop and have to say it was the best class I have ever taken. She has become so wonderful at what she does and is beautiful, I hope one day to be more like her. Her inspiring words and drive motivated me more than I can put into words. Whether she heads to Canada or not I will always be a fan along with many others.

the show was over 3 years

the show was over 3 years ago so im guessing that picture it as well..

?

This is too funny! I agree with the last post. Why are people even wasting their time talking about this girl? She was horrible when she made it on as contestant so how would she be any better as the host?

If you did not waste your

If you did not waste your time knocking young people that are training to grow and learn you may have time to learn to do something productive yourself. Try too, for your own happiness.

Not great choice

I'm very shocked this is actually being thought of as an option. There are many more very experienced girls other than the Spears girl. I think she will make a mess of the show which will ruin her career. (haha I said career.) I don't believe she can take the heat of being in the eye of public.

That fat faced girl is going

That fat faced girl is going to be the new host? She is medicore. She is bad for the show. She still has child like features.

when was that picture even

when was that picture even taken? 06 when she was contestant? almost 09 right? hmm

LMAO! This must be post of the little sister of this disaster! I feel sorry for her parents that they will have to console her when she crashes & burns! PLEASE RETHINK THIS IDEA! SYTYCD is my Absolute FAV! This will make many people second guess the entire cast and production!

NO ONE CAN REPLACE CAT

NO ONE CAN REPLACE CAT DEELEY!

Blair, you're such a bitch!

Blair, you're such a bitch! I totes love this show and can't wait to find out is Deeley gets the boot. Thanks sauce!

Seriously

Who are these people and why do we care?

Immortals in 3-D is the latest 300 knockoff hitting the silver screen. Action packed, full of gore and CGI effects this film leaves us wanting some more plot. Or another scene of Frida Pinto and Henry Cavill naked in 3-D.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.
