Amanda Beard has a lot of reasons to celebrate.

The seven-time Olympic medal winning swimmer is nearly 5½-months pregnant with her first baby and was married on May 1st.

“It was absolutely perfect,” Beard, 27, says of her wedding to photographer Sacha Brown, 34, on Wakatobi, an archipelago in the Banda Sea off southeastern Indonesia in a small village where almost no one spoke English.

Don’t we all?

In a continued attempt to smooth over her post-Olympic gaffe of calling Michael Phelps “gross”, Amanda Beard arrived at last night’s Us Weekly’s 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2008 Party in a shirt declaring her love for her swimming teammate.

Awww, that’s sweet and remorseful. Good show, Amanda.

But if you really want to love him, you better take a number, the line starts behind us!

Flames…on the side of our face. Breathing…breathless…heaving breaths.

People can say whatever they want about his ears, his grill or the length of that chin, but Michael Phelps is our ultimate dream-man. Ours…and the rest of the world’s since his historic victory in Beijing.

Of course, we suspected hoochies would go crazy pro-ho for our man (who, by the by, we’ve lusted after since 2004, so these new bandwagon jumpers can suck it), hailing the conquering hero upon his return.

Olympic gold medalist swimmer Amanda Beard has no problem being naked; she’s already done it once for Playboy.

But this time, she’s peeling off her Speedo for a good cause, to launch a naked, anti-fur campaign in association with PETA. The reigning 200-meter breaststroke champion appears naked in front of the U.S. flag, covered only by a few peek-a-boo letters that read “Be comfortable in your own skin. Don't wear fur.”

Kate Hudson is People’s cover girl for their annual Most Beautiful issue.

Other chosen lovelies include:

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
