And speaking of baby news...Leslie Knopes won't be getting pregnant on Parks & Recreation anytime soon (phew!), but Amy Poehler is preggers with baby number two with her husband Will Arnett.

If they are the funniest couple alive, does that mean that they're kids will be the funniest babies alive? Hmm.

We were sad when news broke that Rob Lowe was leaving Brothers & Sisters, but now we hear that he's that he's joining one of our other favorite shows, Parks & Recreation. (Does he have a thing for shows with ampersands?)

We will admit that last season Parks and Recreation was not exactly our favorite new show. But this year it has really come into its own and is maybe one of the funniest things on TV. (Not that we have a lot of choices for sitcoms anymore.)

In a recent New York Times article, Tina Fey had some words of wisdom for her friend and fellow funny lady Amy Poehler.

Poehler's new show, Parks and Recreation, premieres on April 9th on NBC and Amy plays Leslie Knope, the deputy parks director of a made up town called Pawnee, Ind. It's kind of like The Office, but with a female lead.

Is there anything less funny than someone trying to be funny?

Yes, 84 painful minutes of it. Welcome to Spring Breakdown.

Written by, produced and starring former SNL-er Rachel Dratch, she proves exactly why no one but herself would ever hire her as the lead in a movie.

New York Governor David Paterson is pissed about a Weekend Update segment from this weekend’s Saturday Night Live.

Paterson, who is blind, was impersonated by Fred Armisen who wandered around the studio lost, sticking his head into the shot in the middle of Amy Poehler’s goodbye and tried to make a drug deal, unaware he was on camera.

Last night was Amy Poehler’s last show on Saturday Night Live.

In the middle of Weekend Update, Amy said, “I just want to take a moment to thank everybody. This is my last show. It has been an amazing experience to be here. Being able to do over 140 shows with my friends and my family has been a dream come true. I love you and I will miss you all very much.”

And just as her goodbye was becoming overwhelmingly touching…Fred Armisen stuck his head into camera, making Amy and the audience bust up laughing. It was a fitting send off.

Amy Poehler has popped out a son named Archie!

Seth Myers sat alone at the SNL Weekend Update anchor desk last night and announced, "I'm Seth Meyers. Amy Poehler is not here because she is having a baby," to wild applause. Update ended with Maya Rudolph, back for a special appearance that will hopefully turn into a more regular gig now that Poehler is on maternity leave. Durng the Weekend Update, Keenan Thompson sang a special duet version of Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You with lyrics like, "We love you Amy" instead of "Oh pretty baby."

Last night, the Emmys celebrated their sixtieth anniversary with the least funny, most awkward award show opening in history. You know David Letterman was sitting on his Barcalounger thinking, “No one will ever be able to give me grief from the ‘Oprah-Uma’ gag ever again.”

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
