Barbara Walters

Cancer-stricken Patrick Swayze is still battling the effects of his dramatic illness.

New photographs (similar to this one taken in May) of the actor at his New Mexico ranch have surfaced.

They show Swayze in a cowboy hat, jeans and jacket, near his pick-up truck, smiling and very active.

Swayze's cop show, The Beast, was cancelled two days before the photos. It ran for just one season.

Barbara Walters’s is undoubtedly one of the more unflappable journalists. It takes a lot to knock the socks off of a woman who’s been flirted with by Fidel Castro and rubbed noses with the Dalai Lama but her interview with the infamous “pregnant man” Thomas Beatie “floored her.”

Why?

Beatie announced he’s pregnant again.

We’re shocked Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s puritanical, right–wing head didn’t explode.

Kate Hudson vs. Barbara Walters on The View

Thursday June 12, 2008
The View is such a nightmare these days. Hell must be constant reruns of Rachel Ray and The View at high volume. Luckily, Kate Hudson is a champ and knows how to dodge pesky, prodding questions about her personal life (check out her reaction when they bring up Lance Armstrong). Whoopi looks ready to knock Barbara out. Remember when Babs was a real journalist? The View gives women a bad name.
F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
