Spidey may need to snare a new leading lady in his web.

Kirsten Dunst is playing hard to get.

The fourth installment of the Spider-Man franchise is gearing up and Tobey Maguire has already signed on for a fourth and fifth film, but The Fang isn’t sure she wants to reprise the role of Mary Jane Watson.

Director Sam Raimi says, “I’m hoping that she is going to come on board and I’ve got a meeting coming up with her. I think she would like to but I don’t want to speak on her behalf.”

Can Zac Efron be an action hero?

And, more importantly, does he want to be?

The LA Times is reporting that Zac is thiiiis close to signing on for a live action version of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon Jonny Quest.

This could either be his Batman or his Speed Racer.

And is that really the role Zac, who’s trying to break away from High School Musical-esque teen fluff, wants to do?

We were just telling our mother how "Santa Baby" is our favorite Christmas carol and then we heard this awful news; Eartha Kitt, one of the greatest voices on earth, died on Christmas Day in New York City.

The groundbreaking actress and sultry singer, who broke a major color barrier by stepping into the role of Catwoman on the 1960s Batman TV series after Julie Newmar left the show, had been battling colon cancer.

Yesterday a British tabloid claimed Eddie Murphy and Shia LaBeouf were set to join the cast of the next Batman film, tentatively titled Gotham.

Today, Eddie’s reps are speaking out saying the reports are not true.

Bummer.

We thought Murphy would be a great Riddler.

On the other hand, if that means Shia’s out as Robin too, there’s a ray of sunshine.

The Dark Knight is a new breed of filmmaking.

It’s a summer blockbuster about morality, an action film with emotional heft, a popcorn flick that takes pride in the chiaroscuro of each shot, a weighty tale of justice and valor told with an unflinching honesty, a thrill ride driven by impeccable acting…and it’s all based on a comic book.

In short, there has never been anything like it.

Batman, Dark Knight, Patrick Bateman, Smokeshow, Dream Lover, Newsie: these are just a few of the names we have for Christian Bale.

We need a new vocabulary for this man. The way the Eskimo have hundreds of words for snow, we need as many for the supreme excellence that is Mr. Bale.

As he arrives at the New York Premiere of The Dark Knight at the AMC Lowes Theatre in New York City, we are reminded of the little boy we first fell in love with when we watched Empire of the Sun.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
