Betty White

You asked for it, and you got it. After a serious Facebook movement gathered nearly half a million fans for getting Betty White on Saturday Night Live, word comes that she will in fact be appearing on the show.

White is not saying much about her appearance, except to confirm it. So we don't know if she's hosting, or just appearing.

Go Saints! The Super Bowl was last night and let's talk the highlights. Peyton Manning did some things and so did Drew Brees, and there were some touchdowns. Oh, but did you see the beaver playing the violin? How about Betty White playing football?

"Dear Rue, I hope you hurry up and die so I can be the last Golden Girl left. NOT KIDDING!"

That's the note that Betty White sent to fellow Golden Girl Rue McClanahan when she was in the hospital for a stroke a few weeks ago. 

We know we were probably the only ones in America watching the Daytime Emmys last night, but we watched so you didn't have to!

Tyra Banks and Rachael Ray each won in their respective categories for Best Talk Show, and the women of The View finally won for Best Talk Show Hosts after 12 tries!  

Following her death on Saturday, Bea Arthur’s Golden Girls co-stars Betty White and Rue McClanahan have spoken out to share their fond memories of the seven happy years they spent with Arthur on the series.

McClanahan tells Entertainment Tonight, “[Thirty-seven] years ago she showed me how to be very brave in playing comedy. I’ll miss that courage. And I’ll miss that voice.”

Betty White is 87 and is still as Golden as ever.

Betty was snapped as she made her way through Beverly Hills yesterday, looking absolutely fabulous.

We can’t wait to watch her in The Proposal.

We always knew that Betty was a huge supporter of animal’s rights, having worked with the Los Angeles Zoo Commission, the Morris Animal Foundation, and Actors & Others for Animals, but we just read that she donated nearly $100,000 to the LA Zoo in the month of April 2008 alone. We love her even more for that.

This is one of the most amazing pairings we could imagine! Two TV legends, side by side!
