Beyonce

What's Tom Hanks' favorite song of the year? He was asked just that at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 25th Anniversary show yesterday.

Yup, it's Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," which seems like a sort of unlikely choice, but maybe Forrest, Forrest Gump is hipper than we thought. We do forget that he taught Elvis how to dance.

If you could switch places with anyone for a week, who would you pick? If you said George Clooney or Michelle Obama, then you're in good company, according to a new poll.

Now that we got our Kanye rant out of the way, we can talk about the good parts of MTV's Video Music Awards last night, and there were a lot!

Why is Kanye West such an idiot? We really can't begin to answer that question, but last night at MTV's Video Music Awards he brought out his antics to a new low.

Just ask Oprah! We swear that's what she said. The talk show queen interviewed him for the most recent issue of her O magazine. On her bff Gayle King's radio show, she said about the rapper: "I could smell him on me and I was like, 'Oh, my, this is wonderful."

We would have guessed it.  But now it's official.

Jessica Biel is the most hazardous celebrity on the Internet.

Fans searching online for Biel have a one-in-five chance of hitting a Web site containing malicious software – known as "malware" to techies – according to the annual report listing Hollywood's most "dangerous" online celebrities published by an antivirus software company (figures!).

Poor Gwyneth Paltrow, it seems she catch a break lately. The collective Internet, reality stars... everyone has deemed her a suitable laughing stock, and they still haven't tired of ridiculing her Goop shenanigans.

Now even everyday concertgoers can't help but find flaws in her. Huge, smelly flaws.

Sasha Fierce can't handle a lil bootleggin'.

The singer is going after unknown suspects for pawning off fake goods to unsuspecting fans outside her concerts.

Diva Beyonce Knowles has filed a lawsuit today against "John Does" in New York to stop people from selling knock-offs of her CDs and merchandise at concerts. In particular at her Madison Square concerts coming up on June 21st and 22.

What.

Was.

She.

Thinking?

Beyonce showed up to last night’s New York City premiere of her new movie, Obsessed, which was held at the School of Visual Arts theater (fancy), wearing that!?!?!

She’s Elvira-gone-showgirl.

And what the eff is with the train?

Is it supposed to add an air of elegance? Because what it adds is the stench of ridiculousness.

It looks like a black matador’s cape, which makes her ass the bull she’s fighting against.

Toro! Toro!

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
