Before her double mastectomy surgery, Christina Applegate posed for her “first and last nude photoshoot at home” so she could say goodbye to her breasts. Applegate revealed the details of the private ceremony to Oprah saying, “I made sure that I'd have close-up photographs of them from every angle, so I can kind of remember them.” That gives the phrase “Take a picture, it’ll last longer” a sad new significance.

Christina Applegate recently sat down with Oprah to discuss her battle with and recovery from breast cancer. The Emmy nominated Samantha Who? actress was incredibly candid with The All Mighty O, especially when talking about her decision to have a double mastectomy.

Christina Applegate, 36, has revealed incredibly personal details of her treatment after successfully battling breast cancer. Applegate announced she had both breasts removed following her diagnosis with the deadly illness last month, a choice that left her cancer-free.

After testing positive for the breast cancer gene, Applegate opted for a bilateral mastectomy to significantly reduce the risk of the disease returning and eliminating the need for radiation or chemotherapy treatment.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
