The vampire slayer will now trade in her stakes for diapers.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and her actor-husband Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their first child together on Saturday, a daughter named Charlotte Grace.

Finally, a normal baby name. Charlotte The Vampire Slayer has a nice ring to it.

The new parents will have their hands full as Prinze gets ready to star in the upcoming season of 24.

Somehow, we can't imagine The Slayer playing party games.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who, along with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr., is expecting her first child, took a break from filming The Wonderful Maladys yesterday afternoon to attend a baby shower held in her honor.

Still no word, unfortunately, on when The Chosen One will be born.

Rumor has it that Transformers hottie Megan Fox is being considered to star in the remake of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Weird since two weeks ago she bad-mouthed the proposal of playing Wonder Woman and/or taking over for Angelina (the two look strikingly similar, wouldn’t you say? including all the tats) as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider series.

Oh no. Star Trek, what hath you wrought?

A new Buffy the Vampire Slayer film, which, like J.J. Abrams' new Star Trek movie, will be a "reboot" of the series, is in the works, but the creator and star of the hit TV show, Joss Whedon and Sarah Michelle Gellar, are not involved. Whedon was also behind the 1992 film which inspired the series.

And not starting Kristy Swanson.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is reportedly in negotiations to resurrect Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the big screen.

The show, which ran for seven seasons, went off the air in 2003 but fans are still clamoring for more.

According to ShowbizSpy.com, “There is an idea for a script and to pick the story up with Buffy older and maybe even a mother. Buffy still has a huge fan base, so this is a movie that already has an audience.”

Buffy the Movie Musical, anyone?

Fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel have long hoped for a Spike spin off. So what does James Marsters have to say about it?

At Monday’s press conference for his new film Dragonball: Evolution, Marsters addressed the idea of an all Spike hour.

“I think if we did that, we’d have to do some camera tests with some lighting tests because Spike doesn’t age and I have,” he smiled.

Either she’s getting bored of life at home with Freddie or those Buffy the Vampire Slayer residual checks are drying up, but Sarah Michelle Gellar is to return to TV in a new sitcom.

Gellar will star in a new comedy called The Wonderful Maladys.

The series is about the lives of dysfunctional siblings living in New York as they cope with losing their parents.

That sounds hilarious.

Nothing says comedy quite like a death in the family.

For those of you who would like to begin the 90210 mania and commence stalking (just remember, Leggo My Eggold, Ryan is our baby boo), we have the exact location the cast and crew can be found.

2200 West Carson Street
Torrance, California

They’re filming at Torrance High School, one of the oldest high schools in Southern California and the same location used for the original show (as well as Sunnydale High in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series).

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
