It's been a big week for Taylor Swift. First she did double duty on SNL as host and musical guest, and then last night she won Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year at the CMAs. Kenny Chesney had been the reigning champ of the latter for four years straight. Go Taylor!

Luckily she has a good sense of humor about her, uh, previous awards show run in.

Long gone are the days of country music’s commitment to Aquanet bangs, French braids, bedazzled denim gowns and blue eye shadow.

At Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift walked the red carpet looking absolutely stunning, each wearing a beautiful one-shouldered dress.

Taylor picked a vibrant red Angel Sanchez gown, Carrie arrived in a delicate pink Randi Rahm goddess dress and Miley choose a bejeweled Monique Lhuillier number.

Last night Carrie Underwood became only the seventh woman to be named ACM Entertainer of the Year since the show began in 1970.

The last time a woman won the award was eight years ago when the Dixie Chicks picked up the 2001 honor.

Not only can the girl sing her ass off, but she’s funny, down to earth, smart and willing to admit “they Photoshopped the crap out of me” on the cover of her new album, All I Ever Wanted.

“No girl is perfect,” she told a group of pre-teen girls gathered in Nashville on February 11th for a self-esteem workshop sponsored by Dove. “Just to let you know everyone in the magazines is Photoshopped! Beyoncé is one of the most beautiful girls in the world, but she gets Photoshopped too. We’re all human!”

Valentine's Day seems to send people running for the extremes: it tends to either give you the warm fuzzies or fill you with a violent rage.

Jessica Simpson, Kellie Pickler, LeAnn Rimes and Julianne Hough announced the nominees for the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in the Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday.

Not surprisingly, Jessica received zero nominations.

But Julianne did! As Top New Female Vocalist.

Leading the pack with four nominations each were Kenny Chesney, Jamey Johnson and George Strait, while Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban got three each. Our new favorite, Sugarland got the nod for Top Vocal Duo.

Carrie Underwood is reportedly pulling an Elisha Cuthbert and getting her NHL on. 

The former Idol-turned-country superstar is hooking up with Mike Fisher, a hockey player for the Ottawa Senators.

The couple got outed at an Ottawa hockey game last week, when the Jumbotron “Hug Cam” caught her with her new man’s family in a private VIP box.

Just yesterday all anyone could talk about was how Chace Crawford and Carrie Underwood broke up via text. I wonder if the text went something like this: "i hear ur dating Michelle Trachtenberg, the new ho on ur sho. c u l8tr, a-hole! We r dun!"
