Zac Efron and his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens arrived at last night’s premiere of 17 Again at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
Also there to support Zac-y Pooh were his High School Musical co-stars Monique Coleman, Olesya Rulin and Corbin Bleu, as well as the Jonas Brothers and his Hairspray co-star, an Vanessa’s good friend, Brittany Snow.
Is the Disney Posse Hollywood’s new Brat Pack?
Only they’re not bratty, drunken d-bags; they’re well-behaved, driven, articulate role models.
And we like it.
Elle MacPherson will be joining Mischa Barton on the set of The CW's upcoming Ashton Kutcher-produced drama, A Beautiful Life.
The show, which follows a group of models living together and trying to make it big in New York City, is set to debut in the fall and will also star Corbin Blue.
MacPherson will be portraying Claudia, a high-powered model management executive who used to be a supermodel in the 80s. (So basically she will be playing herself, with a different job.)
For child stars, the road to adult fame is littered with the bodies of fallen compatriots who couldn’t make the transition. From Haley Joel Osment to Candace Cameron, Debbie Gibson to Jonathan Taylor Thomas, these days you’re most likely to find a former tween dream on some VH1 show about rehab or has-beens and the carnage stretches back to Hollywood’s silent era.
Only time will tell if the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and their cohorts go the way of Jodie Foster or David Cassidy, but presently all eyes are on the stars of High School Musical.
High School Musical star KayCee Stroh married Ben Higginson on Friday in Salt Lake City, Utah in total Big Love fashion.
Stroh and Higginson, both 24 (which is too young to get married in our opinion, unless there’s a barefoot-pregnant-shotgun situation) were united in a private Mormon ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple before exchanging wedding bands at a ring ceremony attended by family and friends.
That’s how Mormons do it.
Creeeepy.
High School Musical star Corbin Bleu was snapped leaving ABC Studios in New York City this morning after his appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly.
Is it just us or is he looking a little Michael Jackson these days? Early "Thriller" Michael, not Michael now.
They do have a lot in common: great voices, their love of dance, ambiguous sexuality. We’re not sayin’…we’re just sayin’.
We’re going to make you wait until next week for a full See it or Skip it but we went to a screening of High School Musical 3 this weekend and we have to say, we totally called it back in May when we said “Paging: Ashley Tisdale! You know The Tiz is in heaven. High School Musical 4, The Tiz and her new nose finally get to shine. (Sorry, Corbin Bleu, you'll always be a bridesmaid.)”
The cast of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, including our boy Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu and Ashley Tisdale, took an evening off from their whirlwind round-the-world promotional duties supporting the franchise’s third installment, the first to be released theatrically, opening October 24th, to enjoy a night of theater.
Last night the HSM posse went to see Josh Hartnett perform in Rainman on London’s West End.
Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, and Corbin Bleu arrived for the UK Premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, at the Empire in Leicester Square, London, on Tuesday.
Our girlfriend was there and sat behind our Zac-y Pooh (that lucky hooch). She said she’d never seen so many screaming kids in her life. It was complete madness. She also said Zac is very hot in the film, and she’s not even a fan! We’re seeing it on Saturday and can hardly contain ourselves!!!
Don’t worry, it’s not our baby Zac...it’s KayCee Stroh, 23, who plays hip hop loving Martha Cox. According to People Magazine, KayCee got engaged to boyfriend Ben Higginson early Saturday morning.
High School Musical 4 has been green-lit! Can't you hear the ear-drum shattering squeals of delighted pre-teens?
HSM 3 hasn't even hit theaters yet but that isn't stopping Disney from loading up the gravy train for another ride. They have to stack that cheddar before the audience gets through puberty and moves onto a new infatuation.
