Chris Brown has been charged with two felonies: felony assault and making criminal threats (aka: threatening to kill your girlfriend while choking her until she passes out).
We're thrilled he's been charged and just pray this isn't another case where someone's celebrity helps them dodge a bullet.
His arraignment is set for 3:30pm today at the LA court house.
We bet they’re longing for some flaxen haired twins right about now.
Wm. Wrigley Jr. company, the makers of Doublemint gum, have suspended their ads featuring Chris Brown in the wake of his arrest for beating up his girlfriend Rihanna and making “criminal threats.”
Chris Brown was arrested on Sunday.
He and Rihanna were expected to perform at the Grammys but were a no show. Al Green, Keith Urban, Boyz II Men and Justin Timberlake performed in their stead.
At 12:30am on Sunday morning, after Brown and Rihanna left Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party, they allegedly got into a heated argument in a rented Lamborghini on North June Street in Hancock Park. Brown pulled the car over, the fight escalated and neighbors called the police after hearing a woman, reportedly Rihanna, screaming.
