Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus could be set for a role in the Sex and the City sequel, according to reports.
The 16-year-old actress is said to be thrilled with the prospect of acting alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon.
Details of Miley's role are still unknown, but it is claimed she won't be discussing sex tips with Kim Cattrall's character as she has famously announced she will remain a virgin until she marries.
Miranda's getting hitched, and not to Steve.
Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda Hobbes in the TV and film versions of Sex and the City, has announced that she is engaged to her partner, Christine Mariononi, whom she's been with since 2003.
Nixon announced her engagement yesterday in New York City at an Action=Marriage Equality rally in midtown.
Congratulations to the happy couple!

The Sex and the City movie sequel is locked in and heading into production.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon have all signed on for a second film following the blockbuster success of last summer’s outing. The deals were all finalized yesterday according to reports.
We so wish we could be excited about this but the first film was appallingly bad. We’re still scarred from the horror.
Michael Patrick King will direct and write this film as well (groan) which is aiming for a summer 2010 release date.
Last night, with so much anticipation we could hardly stand it, we went to see the 11pm show of Sex and the City: The Movie with five of our girlfriends.
The theater was packed, raucous and equally excited to see Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda.
We have to say…we were disappointed.
The clothes, shoes, bags and accessories were everything we’d dreamed and more (Thank you, Pat Field, you are a genius!) but the film fell flat.
After taking a minor European tour with premieres in London and Berlin, Sex and the City finally arrived in its hometown of New York City for a gala American premiere at Radio City Musical Hall.
All we can say is FIIIIIIIERCE!!!!!
SJP has never looked better! Divinity incarnate!
Kristen Davis, on the other hand, only looks beautiful from the thighs up. What is with the bottom of that dress?
Cynthia Nixon is still making her “I smell pooh” face but that’s okay because she looks lovely.
Sex and the City: The World Tour.
The ladies of SATC were in Berlin yesterday for the film's second premiere.
Sarah Jessica Parker (wisely) chose to ditch the goofy head gear this time around and looked absolutely marvelous. She makes us want to do Pilates 24/7.
Kristen Davis worked the 1950's glam housewife look again and looked fierce while Cynthia Nixon went for halter black...again. (Booooring)
The ladies of Sex and the City grace the cover of Entertainment Weekly.
In the coverstory, they discuss the difficulty of shooting a film that has been monitored so closely by fans, paparazzi and the media.
"On my first day, we all had to walk down the street together, and there were hundreds of people on Park Avenue watching us," says Cynthia Nixon, 42, ''It was daunting.''
As we type, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon are walking the red carpet in London at the Sex and the City premiere!
We have a spy at the premiere and the afterparty who promises to report back ASAP.
Our spy has already sent us one red alert and it was regarding SJP’s head wear.
As we count down the days until the Sex and the City movie finally hits theaters (22 and counting) star Sarah Jessica Parker continues making the rounds to promote the film. She sat down with Parade Magazine and served up some fierce photos.
Here's the only thing...
After years of claiming she was anti-plastic surgery/botox, are we the only ones who notice that SJP looks like she's had some...ehh hem..."freshening" done lately? She did NOT look this good when SATC went off the air in 2004.
Sex and the City star, Cynthia Nixon, revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago during her appearance on Good Morning America. Both Nixon’s mother and grandmother battled breast cancer. “As the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, knowing my personal risk made me more aware and more empowered when I faced my own diagnosis,” Nixon said.
Nixon underwent surgery and treatment and is now fully recovered.
