Last night was ShowWest’s closing night awards banquet where the National Association of Theater Owners honored the actors and actresses they’ve knighted the biggest stars (and sacred cash cows) of the upcoming year.

The honorees included Zac Efron, Rachel McAdams, Audrina Patridge (say WHAT?!?!?), Dennis Quaid, Michael Caine, Sienna Miller, Zack Snyder, Bradley Cooper and Michael Bay.

So who would you rather?

Zac-y Pooh in all his barely legal, 17 Again glory?

Awwwww!

This is the sweetest thing we’ve seen in months!!!

Dennis Quaid lovingly carried his pudgy, elderly pug through security at LAX on Friday as he, his wife and their twins boarded a flight out of town for the holidays.

Isn’t that what the holiday spirit is all about?

The tender loving care of those we hold nearest and dearest to our hearts?

Happy Holidays!

Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly have reached a settlement of $750,000 against Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after the hospital accidentally overdosed and almost killed their newborn twins last year.

In November 2007, two weeks after twins Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace were born , they were accidentally given an adult dose of the blood thinner Heparin, a massive overdose for the infants that almost took their lives. They eventually recovered and are now in good health.

Dennis Quaid is pissed at Meg Ryan!

While Meg was promoting her absolutely god-awful film The Women, she got real chatty about who was at fault in her divorce with Quaid (perhaps trying to deflect attention away from the wretchedness of her movie) saying Dennis had cheated on her throughout the marriage.
Now Dennis is speaking out against his ex, saying she is only hurting their son Jack.

Tongues are wagging that Salma Hayek is back with her ex-fiance Francois-Henri Pinault after the couple was spotted together at his Balenciaga fashion show in Paris, France on Tuesday after being seen together in LA last week. Hayek and the French billionaire announced their split in July.

Reportedly they stood side by side at the fashion show, seeming friendly and happy. Wow. That's all it takes to get a rumor going?

Meg Ryan is finally speaking openly about her divorce from Dennis Quaid and how it felt being largely branded a hussy for hooking up with Russell Crowe in the midst of her personal turmoil.

“Dennis was not faithful to me for a very long time,” Ryan tells In Style Magazine in October’s issue, “and that was very painful. I found out more about that after I was divorced.”

G.I. Joe: The Movie doesn't hit theaters until August 7th, 2009, but the buzz is already deafening.

More promo pictures of the G.I. Joe: The Movie cast were released today and, just like the ones before, they do not disappoint EXCEPT that they still aren't releasing images of our love, Joseph Gordon Levitt, who plays Cobra Commander.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
