When times are troubled, who do you turn to?

The Doggfather.

In the midst of the worst financial crisis in almost eighty years, Hollywood is desperate to provide a respite from the melee. What better way to offer escapism that to resurrect both musicals and vaudeville? Hey, it worked last time.

That must be what MTV is telling themselves as they embark on their new variety show, Dogg After Dark hosted by Snoop Doggy Dogg.

Last night we had the chance to interview Snoop Dogg on the set of his new MTV show Dogg After Dark.

When asked what he had to say about Chris Brown and Rihanna, he replied, “That’s not my section. That’s not my department. I’d bring in Dr. Phil or Dr. Drew or Dr. Dre. I don’t know.”

We love the image of Dr. Dre as marriage counselor.

After your session he'd tell you "I think today was a good day."

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
