DUI

Mel Gibson reportedly went on a ‘crazed rant’ and screamed at churchgoers for gossiping about him during a church service in Agoura Hills, California on Sunday morning.

Um, isn’t that part of being a big-time movie star?

Gibson was apparently pacing back and forth, shouting at members of the congregation for comments made about his personal life.

Mel Gibson and his wife Robyn split a month after his drunk driving arrest in 2006, according to new documents filed that state the date of separation as August 26th, 2006.

In July 2006, Gibson was arrested for driving under the influence and started hurling anti-Semitic remarks, racial epithets and sexist slurs during the arrest and booking.

We have never forgiven him for that and, apparently, neither did his wise wife.

Lindsay Lohan is heading for utter disaster.

The thrice rehabbed star has been partying HARD since she and girlfriend Samantha Ronson split.

This weekend, her night didn’t even begin until around 1:45am, when she finally arrived at a birthday bash for LA party boy James Krisel.

According to reports, “People were pouring vodka into her red party cup all night.

“She was way beyond incoherent. She was totally smashed and couldn’t even form a sentence. She looked so lonely and lost.”

After only 36 hours behind bars, Charles Barkley, is a free man.

Barkley, whose original sentence was supposed to be ten days, was serving time for a December 31st DUI when he ran a stop sign in hot pursuit of, to quote SNL’s Cougar Den, “a blowjoy…because it certainly isn’t a job.”

The former NBA star checked into Phoenix’s Tent City facility at 8am Saturday and was a free man by Monday.

Nothing like celebrity style jail time to teach you a good, solid lesson.

2009 is shaping up to be the year of the celebrity DUI arrest.

First, Charles Barkley was nabbed on his way to get some oral action, and now actor, director and playwright Sam Shepard has been arrested on a DUI charge in Illinois.

Shepard, 65, who's best known for his 1979 Pultizer Prize-winning play Buried Child and his Ocar-nominated role in 1983's The Right Stuff, was pulled over in Normal, Illinois (actual town name), for speeding and his BAC was twice the legal limit.

Heather Locklear is a wanted woman...

But not for her DUI.

Heather pled no contest to her reckless driving charge stemming from her November arrest in Santa Barbara. In exchange, her DUI charge was dismissed. She was sentenced to three years’ informal probation, fined $700 and must complete a 12-hour DMV road and safety class.

Heather Locklear has been charged with driving under the influence of prescription drugs, following her September arrest in Santa Barbara two months after leaving an Arizona rehab facility for depression and anxiety.

Locklear, 47, had no alcohol or illegal drugs in her system at the time of arrest, but she has been charged because the medication she had taken, “could have impaired her ability to safely drive a motor vehicle,” Santa Barbara County Deputy District Attorney Lee Carter said.

Both Ryan O'Neal and his son have been arrested on suspicion of having drugs in their Malibu home.

An LA Country Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said "Upon searching the premises, the younger O'Neal was found in possession of narcotics. "Later, a vial of drugs was found in the elder O'Neal's bedroom. We believe the drugs found were methamphetamines." Both men remain in custody on $10,000 bail and could be charged with felony possession of narcotics.

Lost has a history of killing off the stars that misbehave. Remember Cynthia Watros and Michelle Rodriguez? Both pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in January 2006 and April 2007 respectively and were killed off the show quickly thereafter.

We were just thinking how lucky we are that sucky Samaire Armstrong had been dropped from one of our favorite shows Dirty Sexy Money.  We totally jinxed ourselves.

The pouty, pathetic actress has been invited back after being dropped as a regular so she could take care of some…um, “personal issues” in rehab. Was it drugs, drink, anorexia, depression, porn? There’s been no explanation so it could be all of the above.

F. Gary Gray's latest effort, Law Abiding Citizen, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, is a knockout! Exhilirating, wry and breathcatchingly paced, it's a stellar accomplishment for everyone involved. Hell yeah you should see it!

Scott Hicks, the director of Shine, and Clive Owen teamed up for this gloriously beautiful if underwhelming project. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that memorable and with such supreme talent attached, I was hoping for and expecting a lot more.

Oh, Diablo Cody, why'd you have to do it? I love you so long...and then you made this. Megan Fox does what she always does, she looks hot. At least there's that. Sophmoric, unfunny and obsessively idiosyncratic, it's a painful movie going experience.

Chocolate and peanut butter. Spaghetti and meatballs. Bobcat Goldthwait and profanity. Two great tastes that taste great together. Gone is the Bobcat of the Police Academy movies and in his stead is a fantastic writer-director who's able to orchestrate the most brilliantly, hilarious vulgarity imaginable. World's Greatest Dad is a fantastic dark comedy (very dark) that features Robin Williams' best performance since Good Will Hunting. See it!
